Emily Young Thomas, M.D.

Dr. Thomas is a native of Monroe, LA.  After graduating from Mississippi College in 2006, she attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and earned her medical degree in 2011.  She completed her pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital in 2014.  Dr. Thomas then spent three years as a clinical associate in the Emergency Department at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, where she received the Clinical Associate of the Year award in 2016.  In 2017, Dr. Thomas and her family moved to New Orleans where she worked at a pediatric private practice for 5 years. In 2022, her family decided to return to Mississippi, and she joined Rankin Children’s Group that August.  Dr. Thomas and her husband, Andy, have two daughters, Meriom and Evalyn.  They live in Brandon, MS.
