
We encourage annual wellness visits at our clinic in order to review growth, development, chronic issues, school concerns, and immunizations. This is often required when we are completing sports physicals, camp/school forms, or refilling chronic medications. Below is the recommended wellness schedule and what to expect at each visit.
Newborn
- Weight/jaundice check
- Immunizations: Hep B #1 if not given at birth
6-8 week old
- Growth and developmental check
- Immunizations: RotaTeq #1*, Prevnar #1, Pediarix #1 (Hep B #2, DTaP #1, Polio #1), and Hiberix #1
4 month old
- Growth and developmental check
- Immunizations: RotaTeq #2*, Prevnar #2, Pediarix #2 (Hep B #3, DTaP #2, Polio #2), and Hiberix #2
6 month old
- Growth and developmental check

- Flu vaccine becomes optional*

- Tdap is required prior to starting 7th grade.

13-15 year old

16-17 year old

Some of our physicians will continue to see children over 18 years of age if they remain on the parent’s health insurance. Each of these decisions is on a case-by-case basis, often based on the patient’s current health issues and if a pediatrician remains the best doctor to serve your young adult.
